Emma Bowles (Principal) I.S.T.D DDE Tap and Modern
Emma began her dance training at the age of 6 at Pinner Theatre Dance. She qualified as a dance teacher at the Margaret Howard Theatre School and is also a Primary school
teacher.
She has performed locally with various musical and drama societies, and has played roles such as Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Rita (Educating Rita) and Peggy Sawyer (42nd Street). She now performs with Hillingdon Musical Society twice a year.
She has choreographed many show routines over the years and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for performing with her students!
Denise is fully qualified to teach Ballet, Modern/Jazz and National Dance. She trained at the Stella Mann School and went on to teach in London, Greece and Cyprus. Denise is also a qualified aerobics/fitness instructor and enjoys organising dance displays and choreographing for local pantomimes. In addition, she teaches children and adults with special needs in the Harrow area.
Marta Micallef I.S.T.D DDE Tap, Modern and Ballet
Marta began her training at PTD at the age of 4 in modern and tap; and has also studied ballet and hip hop at other schools in the local area. She trained at the Margaret Howard Theatre College. Marta also holds a BAHons in Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. This has lead her to work as a scenic artist on productions for West End Theatre’s like the London Coliseum and Noel Coward, as well as on overseas productions for New York and Shanghai.
Alexandra Taylor-Brownl I.S.T.D DDE Tap, Modern and Ballet, Associate Commercial Street Dance
Alexandra began dancing at the age of two at Greenford School of Dance and Spotlight School of Dance, before attending Margaret Howard Theatre College and Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training College to gain her Musical Theatre degree and ISTD teaching qualifications and her pedagogy in Dance Science and Psychology witht the British Ballet Organisation. From the age of five, she began performing in Pantomime Productions including taking the roles of Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and Tweedle Dee. She has performed as the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland and a dancer in 42nt Street. Recently she has been working with Praxis Performing Arts and HEOS as a director and choreographer for a variety of plays and musicals. She is a keen aerialist and enjoys training and teaching workshops in aerial hoop, silks and sling with Spin City and Leo's Circus.
